This policy explains how Marek AI (“Marek”, “we”) handles personal information collected through askmarek.ai (the “Site”). Marek is pre-launch. Today the Site’s only purpose is to let you join a waitlist, so we keep what we collect to a minimum.
What we collect
- Your waitlist email, plus the site language and any campaign tag in the link you arrived from.
- Anti-spam data: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and basic request metadata, used only to keep the waitlist fair.
- Analytics, only with your consent: if you accept cookies in the banner, we measure how the Site is used. Decline and the Site still works.
Why we use it
- To tell you about Marek’s launch and early access, and nothing else. No ads, no unrelated mail.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the form.
- To understand and improve the Site (consented analytics only).
Your consent, and unsubscribing
You join the waitlist by opting in. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email, or by writing to [email protected]. We act on unsubscribes promptly.
Cookies and analytics
By default we load only what the Site needs to function. Analytics and any measurement tags load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime withCookie settings in the footer.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on service providers to run the Site and the waitlist (for example, hosting and email delivery); they process data on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe or until we contact you about access, after which we retain only what we need for our records or to meet legal obligations.
Where it is processed
Your information may be processed by our providers on servers outside your province or country. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is handled.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you live in Québec or another region with privacy laws, the rights those laws give you apply.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above will change. We’ll reflect material changes here before they take effect.
